On August 25, 2024, the Murtaza Marquee on Barki Road, Lahore, turned into a big party of strength with the Punjab Youth Arm Wrestling Championship. Run by Pak Power Fights (PPF) and led by the cheerful Jibran Khan, with help from the PPF team, this event ran from 12 PM to 8 PM. Over 700 happy fans came to cheer for young fighters, making it a special day for arm wrestling in Punjab.

The event had many exciting matches for youth and junior fighters, all using their Right hand in weight groups like -55, -65, -75, and +75 kilograms. The rules followed the Pakistan Pro Armwrestling Federation, with fair judges watching every pull. The Murtaza Marquee was cool and comfy with air conditioning, and a big screen showed the action live, while music kept everyone pumped.

The prizes were a big deal! The youth winner got Rs. 10,000 and a shiny medal, and the junior winner got the same. Each class winner also received Rs. 2,000 and a medal. The big moment was the finals. Usman Khan, a 22-year-old from Nankana, won the youth title with a strong 2-0 win in the -75kg group, earning cheers and a chance to shine more. Hassan Shah, a 24-year-old from Lahore, took the junior title with a close 2-1 win in the +75kg group, showing off his smart moves.

There was more than just fighting! The PPF team set up fun areas with grip games. Sponsors MK Logistics. People watched live on Youtube, with over 1200 views, and hashtags like #PunjabYouthWrestling were everywhere.

Jibran Khan started the day with a smile, saying, “We’re making champions for Punjab’s future!” The PPF team kept everything smooth, from weigh-ins to safety checks. The day ended with fireworks at 8 PM, a perfect finish. Next year, they plan a bigger league, and with Usman Khan and Hassan Shah leading, arm wrestling in Punjab looks bright!
